Pre-Race
Checklist for
Motorcycle and Car Racing.
A
pre-race checklist and normally all kind o checklists, are always
very
useful. Not to wonder why airplane pilots have one for each
procedure
or maneuver they make.
A
pre-race checklist allow you to go through a series of important
points for performance and safety in a methodical way; thus
minimizing the error margin and maximizing the possibilities
of a nice and smooth ride. This becomes specially important
when talking about the vehicle and the equipment you are planning
to use to "fly" (and hopefully win) in the racetrack.
In this
article from the people at p9 Group Motorsports Group
you will find a pre-race checklist that will help you
identify the most important points to take care of before any
race or "big" ride. I am sure you wild find very helpful.
A
couple of commentaries about this or any other pre-race checklist
and something else on race preparation:
- A
Word of Caution: this pre-race checklist is just a guide.
Always pay attention to other specific and important issues
of your kind of motorcycle/race/riding e. i.You won't
go through your motorcycle and equipment in exactly the same
manner if you are riding a super-bike or a dirt bike.
- A Pre-Race
Checklist is helpful only if YOU use it.
- If you
want to learn about the psychological part and how you can prepare
yourself mentally for your next race, follow this link and take
